- Paint over graffiti as soon as possible. It sends a message that the presence of the gang will not be tolerated.
- Install more lighting for parking lots and walkways.
- Work with police to form neighborhood watch groups and teach tenants how and where to report suspicious activity.
- Add surveillance cameras with recording abilities. They may catch something that no one else saw.
- Hire and utilize the services of a private security company.
