Background Checks
Personal references, employment history, and prior criminal convictions on file with the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are all collected and verified. Any candidate with a questionable incident or crime commission in his or her background is quickly eliminated from consideration.
Oral Interviews
This necessary step in the process gives us a chance to evaluate the candidate’s ability to reason and communicate verbally. We also present them with hypothetical situations to determine the use of sound judgment and suitability for the job conditions.
Drug Testing
The California Safety Agency prides itself on providing drug-free healthy personnel to its clients.
Once our candidates pass these first three benchmarks, they are eligible to continue in the process.
Required Training
All our officers are trained and well-versed in the following topics:
- Homeland security
- Local and state legislation
- Law enforcement
- First Aid and CPR
Since the incidents our officers respond to can be unpredictable, we also provide training in order to maximize the safety of our personnel and our clients. Officers participate in simulated training scenarios that emphasize the de-escalation of force and quality of life issues. Our officers emerge with a strong work ethic and the desire to maintain community safety.
